
Wave signs with free teamline to webcast all games

ROAD GAMES WILL ALSO AIR LOCALLY ON 540 AM, WRRD ("The Word")   (Milwaukee, WI) In an effort to reach out to all fans beyond Southeastern Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Wave, a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) has signed a deal with Free Teamline (www.Teamline.cc) to broadcast all games on the internet during the 2004-05 season. The deal went into effect beginning with the Wave's season opener October 23 at Chicago.  Fans with computer access can go to the Wave's website (www.milwaukeewave.com) and click on the "Live Broadcast" button on the left side of the page to be connected with the broadcast feed when Wave is in action. Anyone not having computer access can still listen to the game directly over the phone for a feeon Teamline.  All Wave road games can also be heard locally on 540 AM, WRRD ("The Word"). WRRD has been the Wave's official radio outlet for three consecutive seasons including the current campaign.  "We're excited about offering our fans the opportunity to listen to every Wave game regardless of where they might be or where the game is taking place," said Mike Lafferty, Wave Chief Operating Officer.  The Wave is preparing to host the Kansas City Comets this upcoming Saturday night, November 6th, 6:05 PM at U.S. Cellular Arena. The first 5,000 fans will receive a 2004-05 Wave Schedule Poster. It's also the Wave Kick-Off for the United Way Campaign Drive, with fans asked to bring new hats and mittens to be collected and distributed to various United Way Agencies.  Tickets for all Wave home games ($20, $16, $14, and $12) are available at the Wisconsin Center District (WCD) Box Office, located between U.S. Cellular Arena and the Milwaukee Theater at 510 W.
