Wave Seek First Win of Season Wednesday Night in Kansas City

The 7-time champion Milwaukee Wave take on Central Division rivals, Kansas City Comets, Wednesday night at 7pm (Milwaukee time) at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri.

"We know the Comets are going to be a tough team to take down," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "That KC roster has stayed consistent over the past few years and they know each others tendencies very well; that and scoring superstar Leo Gibson, who continues to amaze everyone in the league. We know are in for a tough division battle the next two games but we are ready and looking forward to it."

The Wave are still looking for their first win of the season after a heartbreaking overtime loss to the rival Blast to open the 21-22 campaign on December 11th and a very disappointing loss to the St. Louis Ambush on December 19.

After Wednesday night's game the Wave will travel back to Milwaukee to prepare for the much-anticipated home opener, Friday, New Year's Eve at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

First kick is scheduled for 3:05pm.
