Milwaukee Wave News Release
After an overtime loss to Kansas City Sunday afternoon, the 7-time Champion Milwaukee Wave is chomping at the bit to face their rivals again, but this time on their famous black turf at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
"We're coming off a back to back weekend and some of our guys are still in recovery mode," said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Olviero. "To play Saturday night, travel all day Sunday and to play they way we did against the Comets, I'm happy with where we are at right now."
The Wave is 17-12 all-time during the regular season against the Comets while Kansas City is 4-10 on the road in the Brew City.
"Obviously we're not satisfied, we want to win every game," added Oliviero. "But we're excited to have Kansas City on our turf and in front of our fans. We expect things to be heated and we're looking forward to it."
First kick is scheduled for 6:35pm CT from UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
Tickets are available at MilwaukeeWave.comor at the Box Office prior to the game.
