MASL Names Week 2 Players of the Week
December 14, 2022 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) News Release
The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Week Two Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week winners. The Milwaukee Wave's Ian Bennett earned the offensive win and San Diego Sockers' Boris Pardo won the defensive honors.
Reigning MASL MVP Ian Bennett began his season with four goals in two games with the Wave including a hat trick. This is Bennett's eighth season with the Wave and ninth in the MASL amassing 415 cumulative points.
Pardo earned the Defensive Honors after backstopping a pair of wins against the Sockers' SoCal rivals the Empire Strykers. Pardo held the Strykers to a single goal Sunday night forcing the game to overtime. This is Pardo's seventh season in net for the Sockers.
