
Wave on the Road this Weekend in Tulsa and Wichita

Just hours before the Major Arena Soccer League trade deadline on Sunday, your Six-Time Champion MKE Wave made a deal with the St. Louis Ambush and traded #16 Anthony Arico for #4 Corey Adamson.
"We wish Anthony all the best with his new team," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. " He is a fine young talent but we needed to find a quality midfielder and believe we have it in Corey."
The MKE Wave also added local University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee star Andrew Wiedabach. Wiedabach steps in for #29 J.C. Banks who leaves the team to start spring training with Minnesota United FC.
"Andrew has been working hard all season long with the first team and has proven to the coaching staff that he can compete at this level," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero.
I couldn't be happier," said Wiedabach. "I've spent almost two years as a reserve player and to finally get that contract.. I'm really excited. I can't wait to get the boots on and help the team anyway I can."
Corey Adamson will wear #4 and Andrew Weidabach will wear #25 for the Wave. Look for them in action this weekend as the MKE Wave hits the road with a pair of games Friday, February 6th, 7:05pm (CT) vs. Tulsa Revolution and Saturday, February 7th, 7:05pm (CT) vs Wichita B52's. "The team is ready for the weekend," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "We know Tulsa will be confident coming off a win and then Saturday, Wichita is up against the wall after their loss to Chicago and are still in the playoff hunt. We know both teams are going to give everything they have."
The final two regular season home game at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena are Saturday, February 14th, 1:05pm (CST) vs Syracuse Silver Knights and Saturday, February 21st, 6:05pm (CST) vs Detriot Waza Flo.

About Corey Adamson:
Corey Adamson was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida and graduated from Clearwater High School in 2006. He then received a soccer scholarship to play for the University of South Carolina Aiken, where he was a four-year starter for the Pacers. Upon graduating in 2010, he began his pursuit of a professional contract while becoming the Assistance Head Coach to Ike Ofoje for the Men's Soccer Team at USC-Aiken. After many tryouts for professional teams, injuries and setbacks, Corey got his shot in St. Louis in 2013. In his first season with the Ambush, he tallied 8 goals and 4 assists, and was an honorable mention for Team of the Week 6 times. After the MISL season, Corey signed with the St. Louis Attack arena football team in the X-League. In his first season in professional football, Corey led all kickers in points, and won Kicker of the Year for his efforts. Now a full-time resident of St. Louis, Corey has re-signed with the Ambush. He is also starting his own non-profit, serves as the Director of Camps and Specialized Training for Panathinaikos Soccer Schools STL, and runs his own camps and clinics.
About Andrew Wiedabach:
Andrew Wiedabach played at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee from 2009 - 2012. In 2011, Wiedabach redshirted the season and maintained junior eligibility. In 2010 he led the team in points (13), goals (4), assists (5) and shots (58) ... named First-Team All-Horizon League ... ranked second in the Horizon League in shots, fourth in assists and 10th in points ... point total was higher than all but one player in the past five seasons at UWM ... shot total was also the second-highest since 2004 ... named "Most-Improved Player of the Year" at the team postseason awards banquet.
Personal: Born - Oct. 14, 1990. Son of Jim and Betty Wiedabach. Nickname is "Weeds".
