2/10 GAME RECAP: MKE 5, BAL 6. Final.

2/17 GAME RECAP: MKE 5, BAL 1. Final.

"It's about continued preparation," said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "We are playing them at home, so we have to tweak our game plan a little bit. I think defensively we're going to have be really sharp considering it's a smaller field. We just have to keep our focus all the way through. It's arena soccer and things happen fast and they will happen even faster on a smaller field. We have to be ready mentally from the first whistle to the final whistle."

After Friday's game the Milwaukee Wave travel to Syracuse to take on the (12-7) Silver Knights, Sunday afternoon at 3:05pm CT from Oncenter War Memorial Arena in Syracuse, New York.

This game will also be the final regular season meeting between Milwaukee and Syracuse. The last time the two teams played was at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on Saturday, January 20th with the Wave shutting out the Silver Knights 6-0.

1/20 GAME RECAP: MKE 6, SYR 0. Final.

"I don't want to say we're putting all of our eggs in one basket, but it's really about the first game," said Oliviero. "We're focusing on getting the outcome we want in the first game against Baltimore and then we'll reevaluate for Syracuse."

MKE Wave Defender Stuart Grable on the weekend...

"A lot of discipline and hard work defensively, from Baltimore especially. They are really good on that smaller field. Despite that their scores have stayed low, so we just have to be patient and focus on our game. Syracuse is always a tough game and will be ready to battle. They do a good job of keeping themselves ready for game. It will definitely be a tough weekend for us."

MKE Wave Forward #24 Max Ferdinand on preparing for this weekend...

"Practice has been very aggressive and competitive. Obviously when you play a team like Baltimore you cannot relax. This weekend is going to be difficult, but we're going to be ready for it. We put a lot of work into training this week and hopefully it'll translate over into the games this weekend."###
