Milwaukee Wave News Release
The Wave become the last MISL team to take the field in 2008-09. Monterrey defeated Philadelphia 15-13 at home last Sunday, getting two goals each from veterans Genoni Martinez and Byron Alvarez. Alvarez was the MVP of the National Indoor Soccer League last season.
Milwaukee returns all the important pieces from a 10-10 season in the Xtreme Soccer League, but has added the top scorers from Detroit Mack) and Chicago Bennett) and the No. 2 scorer from Philadelphia from a year ago, along with XSL Defender of the Year Josh Rife.
