SAN DIEGO, Calif. - San Diego Wave Fútbol Club will host its first NWSL playoff match this Sunday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. PT, from the new Snapdragon Stadium against sixth-seed Chicago Red Stars.

San Diego Wave FC secured its playoff berth on Sept. 25 by fighting back from a two-goal deficit on the road against Orlando Pride for a 2-2 draw, making Wave FC the first-ever NWSL expansion team to make the playoffs in their inaugural year. San Diego then capped off their regular season with a draw against the North Carolina Courage and landed a 3rd place finish overall to earn a home quarter-final playoff match.

San Diego looks to begin its first-ever postseason with a win in front of another sold out stadium as they aim to keep their historic season alive and go as far as they can in the postseason fight.

Boardwalk Fest: 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. PT
