Houston Dash Release Statement on Yates Report
Published on October 10, 2022 under National Women's Soccer League (NWSL)
Houston Dash News Release
As the Yates Report details, there is work to be done to drive institutional change within the NWSL, its clubs and at every level of U.S. Soccer. Sally Yates and U.S. Soccer's investigation and the Dash specific investigation arising from the joint NWSL/NWSLPA investigation, both of which are ongoing. We commend the courage shown by everyone who has come forward to speak with these investigations. It will take a unified effort to continue moving this league forward, and these investigations are an important part of that process. The behaviors outlined in the report are appalling and have no place in our league, in our sport, or anywhere.
We welcome the findings and recommendations of the Yates Report. We will continue to put in place the people, policies, processes and safeguards to keep our players and staff safe, on and off the field. We remain confident in the future success of this Club and the NWSL and we very much look forward to the upcoming playoffs.
