
Wave Defeats St. Louis Ambush Sunday Afternoon

Your Six-Time Champion MKE Wave took care of business on the road Friday night in an exciting overtime shootout thriller, handing the Comets their first loss of the season 7-6.
Sunday afternoon they kept the Ambush at bay at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena handily defeating St. Louis 5-2.
Milwaukee dominated the first half with goals from #2 Tenzin Rampa (Max Ferdinand), #23 Tony Patterson (Pablo Da Silva) and #24 Max Ferdinand (Tony Patterson).
St. Louis was only able to score in the second quarter with goals coming from #3 Gordy Gurson (Odaine Sinclair) and #12 Odaine Sinclair (unassisted).
Milwaukee's defensive force continued into the second half with great goalkeeping from Nick Vorberg who had 16 shots against, 14 saves and gave up only two goals for the win.
The MKE Wave hit the road for the next three games with visits to the arch-rival Chicago Mustangs, Friday, December 11th (7:35pm CT / GoLiveSportsCast.com), Cedar Rapids Rampage on Saturday, December 12th (3:05pm CT / GoLiveSportsCast.com) and St. Louis Ambush, Sunday, December 27th (5:35pm CT / GoLiveSportsCast.com) before returning home to UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena for the traditional New Year's Eve games at 3:05pm CT vs the Chicago Mustangs.
The 3pm, "Balls to the Walls" New Year's Eve game is #15 Tony Walls bobble head night!
