Milwaukee Wave News Release

The 7-time champion Milwaukee Wave lost a hard fought battle against division rivals, the Kansas City Comets, Wednesday night at Cable Dahmer Arena.

Final Score: Milwaukee Wave 4, Kansas City Comets 10.

"This is a rough one to swallow," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "We're having a tough time remaining focused through these games. Indoor is a game of up and downs and we're not managing either very well right now. I wish we would of played with a little more grit down the stretch."

"Yes, we're dealing with a bit of adversity right now," added Oliviero. "But the bottom line, in sport and in life, there is an opportunity for the next player to step up and it's up to them to seize that opportunity but we're not seeing that right now to be brutally honest."

The Wave travel back to Milwaukee and get ready to play in front of the best fans in the Major Arena Soccer League for the first time in 664 days; the annual New Year's Eve game, Friday afternoon, 3:05pm at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

Tickets and more information can be found at MilwaukeeWave.com or at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena Box Office.
