Wave announces Midwest Airlines Kicks for Tix promotion

(Milwaukee, WI) The Milwaukee Wave, a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) announced a group incentive promotion today for the Wave's 2004-05 regular season home opener on Friday, October 29 when Milwaukee hosts the Chicago Storm in a 7:05 PM match at U.S. Cellular Arena.

All groups that purchase 50 or more tickets for the game will receive one guaranteed entry into the halftime "Kicks for Tix" contest sponsored by Midwest Airlines. The contest will feature group representatives competing in an elimination style long-range shot competition, with the winner receiving a roundtrip for two on Midwest Airlines.

"We wanted to reward the numerous loyal group leaders that are once again supporting the Wave organization this season," said Wave COO Mike Lafferty.

Wave group rate discounts range from one dollar off regular ticket prices for groups of 10-50 to four dollars off for groups over 151. Regular ticket prices range from $12 to $20.

The Wave opens the 2004-05 Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) regular season on Saturday, October 23, 7 PM against the Storm at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, IL. Milwaukee's home opener against the Storm on October 29 will also feature a post-game concert by the popular local group "The Love Monkeys."

Tickets for all Wave home games ($20, $16, $14, and $12) are available at the Wisconsin Center District (WCD) Box Office, located between U.S. Cellular Arena and the Milwaukee Theater at 510 W. Kilbourn Ave., all TicketMaster Outlets, or by phone charge at 414-276-4545. Groups of 10 or more should contact the Wave's Group Sales Dept. at 414-224-WAVE (9283) for group rate discounts.
