Cleveland Force News Release
CLEVELAND, OHIO- The Cleveland Force will play host to the Cincinnati Excite of the American Indoor Soccer League (AISL) in the annual Season Ticket Holder Meet The Team scrimmage on Saturday, October 16 at the Force Fitness Institute, the official practice facility of the team. Force Fitness Institute located at 4505 Northfield Road in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. The scrimmage is schedule to begin at 4:15 p.m.
The two teams squared off earlier this month when the Force traveled to Cincinnati's Tri-County Sportsplex on October 1. Cleveland came away with the 6-3 victory led by midfielder Robbie Aristodemo, who tallied two goals and assist. Defender Wendell Regis contributed with a goal and assist of his own.
The Force will feature defender John Ball, midfielders Justin Evans, Myles Stoddard and Adam Campellone; and forwards Antonio Sutton, Chris Dore, and Craig Kench. This will be the fans' first opportunity to see off-season acquisitions Aristodemo, Regis, defender Rene Rivas, forward Sipho Sibiya, and midfielder Gary DePalma. The Excite boasts former Cincinnati Silverback defender Craig Rhodis.
At previous "Meet the Team" nights, Cleveland has played a Blue & Gold intra squad scrimmage as the roster was split into a blue and gold team. This year the Force has decided to have the exhibition a little more competitive to give fans a taste of what's to come in the fast approaching season-opener against the Philadelphia KiXX on October 23rd.
