SAN JOSE, Calif. (Apr. 27, 2007) - In time for their Western Division showdown with the division-leading Utah Blaze at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at HP Pavilion, the SaberCats today adjusted their roster activating linebacker Steve Watson and offensive lineman Troy Reddick from injured reserve, head coach and general manager Darren Arbet announced.

Watson (6-3, 250), a rookie from Southwest Missouri State, had played in the first three games of the year collecting 9.0 tackles before sustaining a wrist injury at Georgia on Mar. 24 and going on IR.

Reddick (6-5, 350) will be making his AFL debut on Saturday. Signed by the SaberCats as a free agent on Feb. 14, the former Auburn Tiger missed the first half of the season after recovering from a training camp knee injury.

Offensive lineman Patrick Afif (shoulder) and receiver Rodney Wright (hamstring) were placed on injured reserved and will miss a minimum of four weeks.

The SaberCats are undefeated (3-0) at HP Pavilion this season and with a 4-3 overall record trail the division-leading Blaze (5-3) by a half game in the standings. FSN Bay Area will televise the game tape delayed at midnight and again at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, Apr. 22.
