Here are the Black Hawks Players of the Week, selected by the coaches and staff each Monday and posted on waterlooblackhawks.com:

Mulligan's Offensive Player of the Week - Alex Guptill

Forward Alex Guptill scored twice Saturday to help the Black Hawks earn a point from their meeting with the Green Bay Gamblers. He also notched an assist during the week and was +2.

Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week - C.J. Motte

Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week recognition went to Motte after making two appearances, including a shutout of the Des Moines Buccaneers. Motte stopped 59 of 61 shots he faced in the two games.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker - Jay Williams

Williams was busy Saturday, making 41 saves on 43 Green Bay Gambler shots in regulation and overtime. The effort marked a career-high for saves by Williams.
