Lumberjacks' New Website to Launch Thursday

Muskegon, Mich. - This Thursday, fans will be able to experience the Muskegon Lumberjacks in a brand new way, with the launch of the team's new official website at muskegonlumberjacks.com.

The Jacks' new site has been built by Bluechip Athletic Solutions, a leading developer that has built sites for the powerhouses in Division-I college sports. Twenty of Bluechip's NCAA football clients signed recruit classes that ranked in the Associated Press Top 25.

"It was an incredible opportunity to work with the Lumberjacks," Bluechip co-founder Steve Kennedy said. "It's extraordinary what this league and a team like the Jacks are doing to positively affect the lives of young players who have the dream of going to college and playing in the NHL, not to mention their families. It made us very proud to have the opportunity to work on this project."

The Jacks' new website will feature an extraordinary amount of content and a variety of downloads for fans. Visitors will find myriad videos from player biographies to a virtual tour of the L.C. Walker Arena to the videos fans have enjoyed on the arena video board this season. The site will also feature all the content of the Jacks' previous website.

"There are two types of sites out there," Kennedy said. "There's your informational type of site and your entertainment site. With the Lumberjacks' site we've managed to find a way to build a hybrid. The site features all the information the fans need, but it will also entertain the Jacks' target market."
