Cedar Rapids, IA - Watch the University of Iowa Hawkeyes battle the Baylor Bears in the NIT Championship Game on the LARGEST TV in Iowa after the Kernels take on Beloit at 6:35 pm.
The Kernels season opener is tomorrow night at 6:35 pm with the gates opening at 4:30 pm. The Iowa/Baylor game will be shown on some of the concourse TV's during the Kernels game and following the game, the Kernels will switch over to the Iowa/Baylor game on the stadium's NEW LED scoreboard with concession stands remaining open through the end of the Iowa game.
It's also a Z 102.9 Thirsty Thursday, which means 12 oz. regular draft beer and 20 oz. bottled soda and water are just $2.00 all night and this special CONTINUES through the NIT Championship game.
Tickets are available on-line at www.kernels.com, or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at (319) 896-7560. Ticket Office hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday.
