
Washington Spirit Announces Official Preseason Roster

Washington, D.C. - The Washington Spirit has released its 2023 preseason roster, the club announced today. The roster features three goalkeepers, seven defenders, 11 midfielders and ten forwards.
This year's preseason roster features four players who were called up to the USWNT's January camp in New Zealand: midfielders Ashley Sanchez and Andi Sullivan and forwards Ashley Hatch and Trinity Rodman. Also on the roster are the Spirit's six 2023 draft picks: goalkeeper Lyza Bosselmann (Gonzaga), midfielder Delaney Graham (Duke) and forwards Nicole Douglas (Arizona State), Civana Kuhlmann (Colorado), Lena Silano (Long Beach State) and Riley Tanner (Alabama).
The Spirit will welcome two under-18 trialists to preseason camp as well: 17-year-old midfielder Melina Rebimbas and 15-year-old forward Chloe Ricketts. Rebimbas will graduate high school this year and has committed to play for the North Carolina Tar Heels this fall.
