Washington Spirit and Mars Pet Nutrition's PEDIGREE© Brand Teaming up for Pitchside Pups on May 24

Washington, D.C. - The Washington Spirit and the PEDIGREE© brand, proudly part of the Mars Incorporated family of brands, are teaming up for Pitchside Pups Presented by PEDIGREE© on Friday, May 24, at Audi Field when the Spirit takes on Seattle Reign at 7:30 p.m. ET. Humans and pups alike can enjoy dog-related experiences and activities around the stadium, including a pre-match pet-friendly Yappy Hour at Spirit Bar Network partner Dacha Beer Garden, a dog march to Audi Field, an adoption event, product sampling, mobile grooming, a pet portrait artist, dog merchandise and more. In 2024, the Washington Spirit welcomed the iconic SNICKERS© brand, proudly part of Mars, as an official partner through the 2024 NWSL season which includes the SNICKERS© logo on game jersey sleeves.

Committed to finding homes for homeless and shelter dogs, the PEDIGREE Foundation supports shelters and rescue organizations and encourages people to adopt, foster, volunteer, and donate. An adoption event in partnership with Wolf Trap Rescue will be held at Pitchside Pups Presented by PEDIGREE©. Mars 100,000 Petcare Associates are devoted to the 400 million pets of the world and how to improve their lives. This involves everything from their nutrition - through foods like PEDIGREE©, WHISKAS©, and ROYAL CANIN© - to high-quality medical care provided by BANFIELD© Pet Hospitals, VCA© and AniCura. Our Associates also think big picture, working to end pet homelessness and alleviate student debt for veterinarians. Our Waltham Petcare Science Center is also driving the innovations we need to improve pet health through nutrition, data, and veterinary care.

Fans can purchase tickets and register their pups for the match HERE. Dogs do not need their own ticket, but their owners must purchase a ticket in the designated pet section and register their dogs by Tuesday, May 21 at 5:00 p.m. ET. No walk-up pets will be allowed to enter the match. Fans who have registered their dogs should enter through Gate B for check-in prior to getting to dog-friendly seats in sections 102-110. Dogs will not be permitted outside of these sections.
