Washington, D.C. - Tickets for the Washington Mystics First Round playoff games will go on sale on Monday, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-877-DC-HOOP-1. The Washington Mystics will make a return to post season play as the fourth seed in the 2009 WNBA playoffs and will face the Indiana Fever. Playoff tickets for the general public start at $20.00. Tickets for University of Maryland students with Student IDs start at $10.00. The Mystics will play the first game at Comcast Center on the campus of the University of Maryland on Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 p.m.
It will be the team's fifth trip to the playoffs. Washington's last appearance in the playoffs was in 2006 against the Connecticut Sun. In 2002, the Mystics made it to the Eastern Conference Finals before losing to the New York Liberty in the third game of the series.
The Mystics will provide complimentary shuttle service between the Metro Green Line College Park station and Comcast Center. The shuttles will be available two hours prior to tip-off and one hour after the game.
The top four teams in each conference have qualified for the playoffs. Teams with home court advantage during the playoffs will play Game One on the road and Games Two and Three at their home arena. Home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs goes to the top two teams in each Conference. Home Court Advantage in the Second Round and WNBA Championship goes to the team with the better regular season record.

Game 1 - Thu Sept. 17 Indiana at Washington 7:00PM ESPN2
Game 2 - Sat Sept. 19 Washington at Indiana 7:00PM NBATV
Game 3 * Mon Sept. 21 Washington at Indiana 8:00 PM ESPN2
