
Warriors take first game of two-game series vs. Janesville 4-1

The Michigan Warriors scored 3-goals in the 3rd Period to break 1-1 tie headed into 3rd period action between the Warriors and Janesville Jets.
Tyler Groat (10) scored the game winning goal in the 3rd period for Michigan, while Jake Hopfner (12) and Josh Shellman (5) both scored empty-net short-handed goals in the 3rd.
A.J. Marcinek (6) opened the scoring for Michigan in the first period, while Janesville's Tyler Rehm (5) scored on the power-play for Janesville in the 2nd period.
Robbie Beydoun stopped 33 Jets shots to earn his 2nd victory wearing the Warriors Red, Blue and White, while Brock Kautz also stopped 33 shots in a losing effort for Janesville.
The Jets and Warriors play game #2 of their 2-game series at Perani Arena on Saturday night with a 7PM drop of the puck.
