
Warriors Sign Dazzle's Bynum

GREENVILLE, S.C., March 17 - The Golden State Warriors announced today they have signed Roanoke Dazzle guard Will Bynum to a 10-day contract, making him the 13th GATORADE Call-Up of the 2005-06 NBA Development League season, the seventh this month and the 63rd overall since the league began play in November 2001.
Bynum, a 6-0, 185-pound rookie out of Georgia Tech, leads the D-League in scoring at 24.0 points per game. In 29 games (28 starts) for the Dazzle he is also averaging 37.7 minutes, 6.7 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game. His minutes played and assists per game averages are both second in the league, while his steals average is fifth. Bynum also leads the league in free throws made (260) and free throw attempts (305). His .852 free throw percentage is also among league leaders.
