DAZZLE GIRL POWER: Roanoke will celebrate "Girl Power" tonight when Austin visits the Roanoke Civic Center. Highlighting the night is an appearance by Nickelodeon star "Dora the Explorer." Also on the card is local news anchor Karen McNew on behalf of the Spina Bifida Association, while members of Girl Scouts from across Southwestern Virginia will attend the game and camp out on the court afterwards.

MARTY BACK TO ROCKERS: The Cleveland Cavaliers reassigned Martynas Andriuskevicius to Arkansas Thursday. This is his third assignment to the RimRockers this season. Andriuskevicius has played in a total of seven games with Arkansas, averaging 17.3 minutes, 6.7 points and 3.6 rebounds.
ASSIGNMENTS BY THE NUMBERS: Since the start of this season there have been 37 total assignments spread over 27 players from 19 NBA different teams. NBA teams can assign a first or second year player up to three times during a season.
SANDERS RETURNS TO SPURS: Fayetteville guard Melvin Sanders signed a 10-day contact with the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, making him the 12th GATORADE Call-Up of the 2005-06 D-League season. This is Sanders third stint with the Spurs this season.
