
Warriors Fall to Jets in Shootout 4-3

Michigan Warriors News Release
The Michigan Warriors got 2 goals from Defenseman Jake Faiella and another from Josh Shellman but the Warriors lose in a shootout to the Janesville Jets 4-3 in Janesville WI.
The Jets got 2 goals from Robin Hoglund and the shootout winner from Adam Winborg, in the first of two games in Janesville. Both teams were unsuccessful on the power play during the contest.
Warriors coach Moe Mantha said after the game, the Warriors were fortunate to get a point out of the Shootout loss; during the game tonight "we could never get our legs under us". The Warriors were out shot in the contest by a 40-21 margin.
The Jets and Warriors play Saturday night in Janesville, before the Warriors return home to Perani Arena and Event Center for a Wednesday night contest vs. the division leading Port Huron Fighting Falcons at 7pm.
The Warriors then play host to the Johnstown Tomahawks on Friday and Saturday night at Perani, with 7PM faceoff both nights.
