
Warriors Complete CHL Import Draft

Moose Jaw Warriors News Release
At the 2018 CHL Import Draft the Moose Jaw Warriors selected 17-year-old right centre Daniil Stepanov and 17-year-old right winger Yegor Buyalsky.
In the 1st round with the 52nd overall pick the Warriors drafted forward Daniil Stepanov from Belarus. Stepanov, 6'0", 168lbs, played last season with Team Belarus U18 and had three goals and 20 points in 31 games. He was an underage player for Belarus at the 2018 IIHF World Under-18 Championships.
The Warriors closed out the Import Draft by selecting Yegor Buyalsky 77th overall. Buyalsky, 6'0", 157lbs, played last season with Team Belarus U17 and had 19 goals, 29 assists, and 48 points in 49 games. He was a member of Belarus's team that competed at the 2018 Mac's Tournament in Calgary and finished the event with five goals and six points in six games.
