Warriors Add Adams and Bunio
August 2, 2019 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Vancouver Warriors News Release
VANCOUVER BC - The Vancouver Warriors have signed defender/transition Brent Adams and forward Lyndon Bunio, pending NLL approval.
Adams, 28, is from Norwalk Connecticut, and has spent his past two seasons in the NLL with the Colorado Mammoth. "We are excited to bring Brent to our organization," comments Warriors General Manager Dan Richardson. "Adams is one of the fastest players in the NLL and will bring big time speed on the turf for us this season."
Bunio, 23, is originally from Calgary, and has spent his past two seasons playing with New Westminster of the Western Lacrosse Association. The lefty scored 14 goals and added 22 assists for 36 points in the regular season this year.
"Lyndon has enjoyed a great year in the WLA," says Richardson. "Bunio sets great picks, creates a lot of space for his teammates and isn't afraid to go to the tough areas in front of the goal or into the corner to scrap for a loose ball."
