
Warriors Acquire Mike Mallory from Rochester

VANCOUVER BC - The Vancouver Warriors have today acquired Delta BC forward Mike Mallory from the Rochester Knighthawks in exchange for defender Travis Burton and Vancouver's 2020 second round draft pick.
Mallory is 28 years old and currently plays in the summer with the Maple Ridge Burrards of the Western Lacrosse Association. This season, Mallory is fifth in the WLA in goals (22) and points (46).
"We are excited to bring Mike Mallory to Vancouver," Warriors General Manager Dan Richardson comments. "Mike is entering the prime of his NLL career, he knows a good number of our players and is keen to be a part of the Warriors franchise."

In other moves, New York today selected Forward Jean-Luc Chetner from Vancouver in the expansion draft, while Rochester selected defender Brandon Goodwin.
"With the NLL expanding, there will always be days like this where we may lose personnel," says Richardson. "We wish Brandon and Jean-Luc the best in their new opportunities."
