Warriors Acquire Jacob Evans III

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors have acquired guard Jacob Evans III as a replacement player from the NBA G League player pool. Evans III will be available for Santa Cruz while forward Jordan Bell is on international duty with USA Basketball.
Evans III was originally selected by the Golden State Warriors with the 28th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Evans III averaged 2.9 points, 1.2 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 10.8 minutes over 57 games (two starts) during his time with the Warriors before being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in February 6, 2020 in the deal that brought forward Andrew Wiggins to Golden State.
Evans III was acquired by Santa Cruz during the 2021 NBA G League Single Site and played in their final four games averaging 11.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
Evans III will wear number 15 for the Warriors and will be available for Santa Cruz's game on Friday, November 26 against the NBA G League Ignite.
