Waco Wranglers News Release

Waco, TX. Waco sports fans know what it takes to be a real fan. "You gotta get Wroudy."

Basketball fans can now join the Wrangler's Wroudy club for free and be part of Waco sports history. Members will receive a special membership card to present for sponsor discounts when they sign up at www.abawranglers.com and go to the fan club link.

"The Waco Wrangler's Wroudy club is the backbone of the Wrangler's fan support," Coach Toni said. "Wroudy members are active ambassadors for the team in the community and we really appreciate their support and dedication to the team."

Companies can also participate in the Wroudy club. There are five different packages for the Wrangler Fan Club available. Sponsor packages include perks such as coupons in 50,000 Wranglers coupon books, recognition on a special Wroudy t-shirt, and game-day recognition via PA announcements. Each package is different and offers a great affordable way to promote the business and support the team.

The Waco Wrangers joined the American Basketball Association (ABA) in 2006. The 2006-2007 season will be their first to compete. The ABA is the fastest-growing sports league in history. The Waco Wrangler will provide cost-efficient, fan-friendly and fast-paced professional basketball for the community of Waco. The Wrangler's are a part of the White Division (Central). For more information visit the Wrangler's website at www.abawranglers.com or www.abalive.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
