MILWAUKEE, WI (November 14, 2005) - The Major Indoor Soccer League announced today that Milwaukee Wave goalkeeper, Nick Vorberg, has won the league's Goalkeeper of the Week award for the second consecutive week.

The Grants Pass, Ore, native starred in the Wave's home opener as Milwaukee defeated the Chicago Storm 7-3. Vorberg played 57 minutes against the Chicago Storm on Saturday and stopped 15 of the 17 shots he faced. Thus far, Vorberg has gone two for two in Goalkeeper of the Week honors.

Vorberg has been a leader on a sturdy Milwaukee Wave defense. After two games, the Wave leads the league with a 3.00 goals against average.
