Sioux Falls, SD--The United States Hockey League announced Monday that Stampede forward Mike Voran (Vor-ann) has been named Reebok Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Voran posted seven points (2g, 5a) and was a plus-3 in three games last week.

The Livonia, MI native set up two goals in a 5-0 win over Fargo on Wednesday. On Friday, Voran scored twice and assisted on another in an 8-2 thumping of Cedar Rapids. He finished off the week setting up both goals in a 9-2 loss to Omaha on Saturday.

Voran was the Herd's first round selection during the 2009 USHL draft and currently leads the team in scoring with 28 points (12g, 16a) in 22 games. Voran is currently on a six-game point streak in which he has recorded 11 points (6g, 5a) during that time.

Voran and the Stampede return to action this Wednesday when they host the Waterloo Black Hawks at 7:05 PM at the Sioux Falls Arena. It is also $1 hot dog night. Thanks to SMG/Sioux Falls Arena, all hot dogs will be just $1 all night.
