OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) suit up for their final home game before the holiday break tomorrow evening as they welcome the Tri-City Storm to the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The opening face off for tomorrow's game is at 7:05 PM.

Omaha (19-4-1, 39 Pts.) enters the week atop both the West Division and USHL standings and currently holds an eight point lead over Sioux Falls in the West. The Lancers are coming off their most impressive offensive performance of the season after a 9-2 victory over the Stampede this past Saturday evening. Omaha registered a season-high six goals in the opening period running away with its 11th home win of the season. After the final horn sounded Saturday, 14 separate Lancers had tallied at least one point in the victory while eight Omaha skaters registered multi-point contests.

Tomorrow evening's contest marks the fourth of five regular season meetings between the Lancers and Storm. Tri-City (10-8-5, 25 Pts.) enters the week 4th in the West Division after winning three of its last four games overall. That run includes a 4-3 shootout win over Omaha last Friday evening in Kearney - a game in which both sides scored in the final 64 seconds of regulation to even the contest before Tri-City claimed the contest in the shootout. The Lancers are 2-0-1 against the Storm this season taking the first two meetings with a 3-1 win on October 3rd followed by a 4-1 win at Tri-City on November 11th.

The Lancers close USHL action with a weekend series in Chicago against the Steel this Friday and Saturday evenings. Omaha, along with the other 13 USHL members clubs, are then off from December 20 - 27 for the league's annual holiday break.
