The New Orleans VooDoo have re-signed WR/LB Anthony Collins and signed OL/DL Furnell Hankton and DS Antonio Watson, it was announced by the team, in a trio of moves designed to increase competition in training camp, which begins on January 4.

Collins competed for a roster sport with the Saints in 2001 and prepped at Glen Oaks High School in Baton Rouge.
Hankton (6-5, 285, Louisiana State) is a six-year Arena Football League veteran who comes to New Orleans from the Las Vegas Gladiators. During his career, Hankton has recorded 52 tackles, two sacks, two tackles for a loss, 12 passes defensed, four forced fumbles and 22 receptions for 178 yards with seven touchdowns. Hankton was a three-year letterman at LSU from 1995-97, where he appeared in three consecutive bowl games for the Tigers. He is a New Orleans native who prepped at Booker T. Washington High School.
Watson (6-3, 308, Southern) spent parts of the past two seasons with the Grand Rapids Rampage, appearing in five regular season games and one playoff game, recording 14 tackles and one fumble recovery. Watson appeared in one regular season and one playoff game for Grand Rapids in 2003 and appeared in four games for the Rampage in 2004. Watson played at Indiana University from 2001-02, starting at cornerback his senior year. Watson transferred to IU from Hinds (Miss.) Community College.
"We are continuing to increase the competition level at all positions," said VooDoo Coach Mike Neu. "Anthony is a physical receiver who brings a high level of toughness to the position. Furnell is an AFL veteran who is a solid two-way player. Antonio possesses the size and skills to compete for a position in our secondary."
