
Volunteers to be honored at Vermont Lake Monster game

BURLINGTON, VT - The Vermont Lake Monsters and FairPoint Communications would like take the opportunity on Wednesday June 27th to thank volunteers from throughout the state of Vermont for their dedication and commitment to various causes.
"FairPoint is proud to sponsor the Lake Monsters' Volunteer Appreciation Night," said Mike Smith, Vermont state president for FairPoint."We work closely with worthy organizations across Chittenden County and Vermont to make this a better place for us all to work and live. We thank the volunteers for all they do in giving back to our communities. It's an honor to salute them."
At the 7:05 game against the Connecticut Tigers, the Lake Monsters and FairPoint Communications will be showing their appreciation for the volunteers by presenting each with two game tickets. In addition to free game tickets, there will be a pregame ceremony dedicated to the volunteers and each person will be entered into a raffle for give away items from the Lake Monsters.
The Lake Monsters have already received tremendous feedback from various organizations from throughout the state, but are looking to incorporate even more individuals in the celebration.
