Two of America's best chefs have joined together in the creation of VOLTInk.: Recipes, Stories, Brothers, (Weldon Owen) a new cookbook by Bryan and Michael Voltaggio....and Frederick is throwing a party to celebrate!
"We are excited to work with Bryan, Hilda, Michael, and the whole team to once again raise money for great local charities," says Jason Mecler, FACKA Sports CEO.
WHAT: Raised in Frederick, MD, the Voltaggio brothers are coming home for a party to celebrate the release of VOLTink.: Recipes, Stories, Brothers, before it goes on-sale for $40 nationwide.
FESTIVITIES: Concession food courtesy of Bryan and Michael Voltaggio's take on ballpark food; beverages by Flying Dog and Brewers Alley
Concert provided by the The Regal Beagles Yacht Rock Club Band, self described as, "6 cool dudes in loose moods bringing you the finest yacht rock from the land of pleasant living."
A second concert by Blatant 80's - A decade you remember, songs you can't forget!
A FACKA double-header (Frederick Adult Co-ed Kickball Association) featuring one regular season game and one All Star game with local celebrity Siobhan Connellan singing the National Anthem. Each team will also sport custom jerseys to further celebrate the occasion. This is going to be the first public exhibition game of Major League Kickball ever, as the Maryland Ballers and the Frederick Phantoms take the field.

WHY: Home sweet home! Bryan and Michael's cooking styles are both heavily inspired by their upbringings in Frederick, and this event gives them a chance to celebrate with their community. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Frederick Keys Care Fund with the Community Foundation of Frederick.

6 - 10 p.m.
Early entry will be available to press to meet with Bryan and Michael Voltaggio and sample food. The chefs will be available for interviews from 5:30-6:00 p.m.
