Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA - The Official website of the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, www.mudbugshockey.com, now has a brand new look for the 2008-2009 Central Hockey League season. The site was re-launched today with a newer, brighter color scheme and many great new features so you can stay up to date with your hometown team!
The new mudbugshockey.com home page features an in-depth "Faceoff Focus" and "Game Center" that gives you all the tools you need to track Mudbugs Hockey. It includes game schedules and quick links that allow you to buy tickets for home games and track road games live through online radio streaming or the CHL Network. The home page also features up-to-date Northeast Division standings and links to Mudbugs team stats and other Central Hockey League stats.
As we continue to update the new site, it will also contain brand new features such as video highlights driven by www.youtube.com, including our "Scrap of the Game" video page, a Mudbugs application from www.gydget.com, and other new elements like a Mudbugs history page that chronicles our 12 successful years in Bossier-Shreveport.
Check out the useful tools for tracking Mudbugs Hockey, such as the schedule pages that help you in the know about our game schedule, broadcast schedule (to help you find games and coaches shows on the radio dial), and our promotions schedule that tracks day-to-day and game night events. The website also features all the ticketing information you need to get out to CenturyTel Center to cheer on your Mudbugs.
The Mudbugs are back on the road this weekend to take on the Rocky Mountain Rage on Friday night and the Colorado Eagles on Saturday. Friday's game can be heard live on 710 AM KEEL and Saturday's contest will be on AM 1130 KWKH. Pregame coverage both nights will start at 7:45 pm and live video from both games will be available through the CHL Network. The Bugs will return to CenturyTel Center after Thanksgiving to battle Rio Grande Valley on Friday, November 28th and Texas on November 29th. Group and flex ticket packages are available by calling the team office at 318-752-BUGS and individual tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster at 318-741-9700.
