Vision win over Tennessee 106-104

SUWANEE, GA - January 5, 2007 - Atlanta Vision, Atlanta's professional basketball team in Gwinnett won at home to the ABA division leaders, Tennessee Mudfrogs. The Vision returned from the Christmas break with a new focus and new additions.

Atlanta Vision trailed in the 1st quarter, 24 to 17. By the half, the Mudfrogs lead remained steady to end the first half at 46 to 53. Jeremy Mayweather, Kevin Harrington, and newcomer Anthony Diggs had a complete effort to lead the Vision with 22, 19, and 19 points respectively. Chris Brown, at 21 points, and Sidney Pointer, at 18 points, led Tennessee and increased their lead by one to end the 3rd quarter at 79 to 71. The fourth quarter kept fans at the edge of their seat with the score tied with less than 8 seconds to go. Diggs drew the foul and hit both free throws to close the Vision win at 106 to 104.

Atlanta will host Tennessee tomorrow Saturday, January 6th to finish their double-header weekend. All fans are encouraged wear red and support the Vision as they look to capture another win.
