LANCASTER, Calif. - Drew Ferguson notched three hits, including a double and an RBI, but the Visalia Rawhide powered up early and often to knock off the JetHawks, 14-7 on Friday night in the series opener at The Hangar.
The Rawhide (21-7), who hold the best record in the California League, put up three-spots in the first two frames against Lancaster starter Brock Dykxhoorn. In the second inning, all three runs came on homers when Domingo Leyba and Rudy Flores went back-to-back with two out.
Flores hurt the JetHawks again in the fourth inning with another blast, his second of the game. He raised his average to .336 with a three-hit night and now has 28 RBI in 28 games for Visalia.

Visalia pushed the lead back to eight again with a pair of runs in the fifth and two more in the seventh. Lancaster scored a pair themselves in the seventh on back-to-back RBI singles by Martin and Ferguson. It was Ferguson 's second three-hit game this season.
