
Vipers to Participate in 2023 FIBA Intercontinental Cup

TENERIFE, Spain - The International Basketball Federation announced that the next edition of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup is set to take place from February 10-12, 2023 at the Pabellón Insular Santiago Martín in Tenerife, Spain.
The cup will host the 2022 champions of four regional club leagues which include the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA G League, Lenovo Tenerife of the Basketball Champions League, São Paulo of the Basketball Champions League Americas and U.S. Monastir of the Basketball Africa League.
This marks the Vipers second time participating in the FIBA Intercontinental Cup. The team made its debut in 2020 after being crowned the 2019 NBA G League Champions and obtained a fourth place finish.
The tournament will tip off on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 with two semi-final games and will conclude on Sunday, Feb. 12 with the final and third place games. Opponents and game times are still to be determined. For more information visit www.rgvipers.comor www.fiba.basketball.
