
Vipers Postponed

Calgary Vipers News Release
Due to unplayable field conditions at Foothills Stadium in Calgary, Alberta tonight's, Tuesday August 4th, game between the Calgary Vipers and Tucson Toros has been postponed. To make up the contest the two teams will play a double-header on Thursday.
This series continues with a twin-bill on Wednesday August 5th starting at 5:05 PM MDT. Dallas Mahan (2-3) and Evan Greusel (5-2) will start the two games for the Vipers.
On Thursday August 6th at 7:05 PM MDT this four-games-in-two-days series concludes with another double-header and it will be the final Dog Days of Summer with dog toys handed out at the front gate. It will also be Grey Eagle Casino night at the park with even more free giveaways. Reggie Rivard (3-3) and Joe Sergent (5-3) will toe the rubber for Calgary.
On Saturday August 8th at 10:00 AM MDT the Vipers are holding their 1st annual kids camp at Foothills Stadium for ages 9-16. Vipers' players will be on the field to demonstrate and teach hitting, throwing, and fielding techniques. Interested kids can sign up at www.calgaryvipers.com.
For the third straight year the Vipers have qualified for the playoffs and will host Game 3 of the North Division Championship Series on Friday September 4th at 7:05 PM MDT. If necessary Games 4 & 5 will be held on Saturday September 5th and Sunday September 6th also at Foothills Stadium.
