
Vini Dantas Named to MASL Team of the Week

The Major Arena Soccer League announced on Wednesday that Baltimore Blast forward Vini Dantas has been named to the MASL Team of the Week for the first time this season.
The Blast won their season opener against Chicago 7-4. Dantas contributed in a big way recording 4 points on 2 goals and 2 assists. Dantas, who was a 2014-15 MASL All Rookie Team Selection, looks to build off his fast start this weekend when the Blast host the Syracuse Silver Knights.
William Vanzela, who recorded 7 saves on opening night, was listed as an honorable mention.

Dantas and the Blast look to build off their opening night victory this weekend when they host the Syracuse Silver Knights in an Eastern division matchup. The game is Saturday, November 14th at the Royal Farms Arena at 7:35 p.m. Saturday will also be William Vanzela t-shirt night, the first 1,000 kids 14 & under will receive a shirt.
