Waco Wranglers News Release
Waco, TX. The ABA Waco Wranglers will hold a press conference to sign Vincent Bridgewater Thursday at 10am at the Murray Watson Jr. Student Recreation Center at Texas State Technical College Waco. Bridgewater will be the fourth player signed by the Wranglers.
The 6'9" combination power forward and cneter played for McLennan Community College and Southwest Christian College before transferring to Tarleton State. Bridgewater was named to first team all conference at Tarleton State in both 2002 and 2003. "I am blessed to have the opportunity to play professional basketball," Bridgewater said. "I'm excited about the team and the players we have and I think we can take it to the next level with an ABA championship for the Wranglers."
"Bridgewate plays his position with authority," Coach Toni said. "He plays bigger than his size and he is going to bring some excitement to the Wrangers team with his shot blocking and power dunking ability."
