FRESNO, Calif. - Forward Villyan Bijev is nominated for USL League One Fans' Choice Goal of the Month for April. On April 8 Central Valley Fuego FC traveled to the Queen City to take on Charlotte Independence. Fuego FC was down by one goal at the half. In the second half, Charlotte put in two more goals, Bijev responded with two equalizer goals. The first goal in the 81st minute and the second in the 96th minute. The final goal began after center back Jordan Chavez sent a high ball towards the Charlotte goalkeeper and Françios Dulysse attempted to head it in. Charlotte goalkeeper punches it out of the box, but not before Bijev, with his back turned toward the box, chips it back in under the top of the bar and finding the back if the net six minutes into stoppage time.

Bijev earns Fans' Choice Goal of the Week for Week 2. Now, fans' can vote again for the veteran forward for Fans' Choice Goal of the Month.
