
Victor Sikora Out 4-6 Weeks with Torn Meniscus

FRISCO, Texas (Wednesday, August 27, 2008) - FC Dallas midfielder Victor Sikora today underwent surgery to repair a torn lateral meniscus in his right knee. He is expected to be out of action for at least 4-6 weeks.
Sikora was injured during a tackle in the 47th minute of the team's 1-1 draw at Kansas City on Saturday, August 23. The 30-year-old joined FCD on August 8 after spending his entire career playing in his native Netherlands, most recently with NAC Breda. He started both of the past two games for FC Dallas as a left midfielder.
FC Dallas returns home after three road games to face the Columbus Crew on Saturday, August 30 at Pizza Hut Park at 8 p.m. CT.
