
Viaero Center Announces Summer Ice Schedule

Kearney, NE. - The Viaero Center has announced a summer ice schedule that will run through July 31st. Scheduled events include; Public Skate, Stick & Puck, Drop In Hockey, Freestyle Skating, Learn to Skate, Learn to Play Hockey and more! The Viaero Center will offer more than 75 public skate sessions over the next two months. The facility will open to the public on Monday, June 4th, with select ice sessions scheduled. A two hour public skate session will serve as the grand opening for the summer ice schedule on Friday, June 8th. The event is set to begin at 7:15pm.
In addition to the release of the summer ice schedule, the Viaero Center has also announced that the facility will be available for summer skating and birthday parties. Birthday party packages range from $150-$250 and can be arranged by contacting Kevin Marker at (308) 338-3575 or kevin@stormhockey.com.
"This marks the first time in the building's eighteen year history that a variety of on ice activities will be offered daily throughout the summer months of June and July. The facility will be open seven days a week and will offer the community a unique opportunity to enjoy many of its favorite cold weather activities throughout the summer months." The Viaero Center will now offer a variety of hockey, figure skating, and public skating events for the first time during June and July. During the summer ice schedule, there will be at least one Stick & Puck, and one Public Skate session offered each day. There are several days on the calendar with multiple Public Skate sessions scheduled during the day. The complete schedule of summer ice events can be found online at kearneyevents.net. Public skate prices are $10 for adults, and $7 for kids, students (with valid ID), military and seniors.
