North York, ON - Vancouver FC will today face York United FC in the club's second all-time Canadian Premier League (CPL) match and second match against the Nine Stripes this week, after the two sides met in Canadian Championship play on Wednesday. Here is everything you need to know about the match, which kicks off at 10 a.m. PT in North York, ON:

MATCH STORY: Vancouver is after its first goal and first result as a club, as it looks to split the results with York United in the second of back-to-back matches between the clubs this week.

York took a narrow 1-0 victory over VFC in Canadian Championship play on Wednesday night, but Head Coach Afshin Ghotbi's side put together a cohesive performance that it will look to build upon on Saturday.

Vancouver will continue to focus on its defense-first mentality, but the team's attack proved it can put pressure on York's backline and goalkeeper Niko Giantsopoulous, after putting 12 shots up midweek, including three on target, and hitting the woodwork once.
