Veteran Midfielder Re-Signs with Dallas Sidekicks

(ALLEN, TEXAS) The Dallas Sidekicks have re-signed midfielder Fernando Garza for the 2019-2020 Major Arena Soccer League season. This will be Garza's fifth season with the Sidekicks. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Garza played college at Midwestern State University and was originally picked up by invitational tryout. At Midwestern State, Garza appeared in all 17 matches making 16 starts on the back line. He was a key member of a defensive unit which ranked 15th in NCAA Division II in goals against average (0.76) and 33rd with seven clean sheets.
He is a strong veteran of the Sidekicks roster and when asked what it felt like to be coming back for his fifth season with the Dallas Sidekicks he said, "I am very excited to re-sign with the Sidekicks because it's like my second family."
