WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - It was announced today that the Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned forwards Dominik Uher and Keven Veilleux from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL)

Uher appeared in two games for Wheeling before being assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Oct. 20. The 20-year old has posted two assists and 15 penalty minutes in 12 games for the Penguins.

A fifth-round draft pick (144th overall) of Pittsburgh in 2011, Uher played three seasons with the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League. The Czech Republic-native totaled 144 points (58g-86a) in 181 games for the Chiefs.

Veilleux posted a goal and an assist with the Nailers over three contests this season. It was the first game action for the 23-year old since May 4, 2011 after an injury suffered during the preseason last September cost him the entire 2011-12 season.
