Valour FC Sign Canadian Midfielder Zachary Sukunda

WINNIPEG, MB. - Valour FC today announce that the club has signed Canadian midfielder Zachary Sukunda to a multi-year contract.
Sukunda, 28, joins Valour FC from IF Gnistan (Finnish Second Division), where he spent the 2023 season, tallying one goal, two assists and 1,903 minutes played in 34 appearances.
"Zach is a player we've followed from afar," said Head Coach & GM Phillip Dos Santos. "His time spent in Finland has allowed him to mature his game. He's a good player, an excellent professional and brings quality and flexibility to our roster."
In 2019, Sukunda became the first-ever player to sign with the Halifax Wanderers, making 21 appearances for the side that season.
