WINNIPEG, MB. - Valour FC today announce that the club has signed Venezuelan international forward Ronny Maza.
Maza, 23, joins Valour FC from Trujillanos F.C. (Venezuelan Primera División) where he spent the 2020 season, making 17 appearances and scoring three goals in Venezuela's top-flight professional league.
"We're extremely excited to bring Ronny in," said Head Coach & GM Rob Gale. "At age 23, Ronny has not only a huge amount of potential growth, but a vast amount of experience in Venezuela's top professional league. We look forward to him scoring plenty of goals in front of the Trench in 2021."
In 2019, the forward made 31 appearances, totalling 2,524 minutes and nine goals with Trujillanos F.C.
In total, Maza has made 82 appearances in Venezuela's top professional league, totalling 5,554 minutes and tallying 17 goals and four assists.
